This grocery store is open late so it was convenient for a Sunday evening trip to pick up a few essentials. They had decent selection but were lacking on plant-based milk. Their prices were a bit high but in these inflationary times, it's to be expected.
This place is equivalent to a Jewel Osco. You get fresh food and fresh organic juice here. It's conveniently located over the gym and I'm always here after gym.
I'm from Weehawken, and up until Lidl came along, we went months without a true supermarket. This was one of my stops. Even now, when I can't find something at Lidl, I will stop at this Shoprite to fill up the gaps in my grocery lists. This Shoprite is HUGE with a vast selection of goods. In particular, their floral department, frozen food department, milk section, and cheese section really shine here. Since this is in a Latina community, there are also a ton of international goods for purchase, such as uncommon spices and packaged items. Unfortunately, the aesthetic of this Shoprite leaves a lot to be desired. It definitely looks dated and worn upon entering; still, I'm there to buy groceries, not to have a luxury experience. If I want a high-end grocery experience, I will pop over to the Whole Foods in Edgewater.
Omg real Italian Tiramisu this is the best grocery store Tiramisu that I've ever had this store must have real Italians making this because the cake was nice and moist and it had just the right amount of coffee omg ShopRite thanks for the yumminess and the price is very reasonable they get five stars alone just for the Tiramisu.Other than that it's a pretty decent store hey I was even able to play my lotto with my debit card and that's something that I've never been able to do until I came to ShopRite so yeah I would say that this is a pretty decent store with everything that you need and then some
